Imole Campaign Council Welcomes Adeleke’s Appointment as Tinubu Campaign Coordinator, Targets 1.5 Million Votes in Osun

The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) has welcomed the appointment of Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, as the Osun State Coordinator of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council, pledging to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the forthcoming presidential election in January.

The council described the appointment as well deserved, expressing confidence that the trust placed in Governor Adeleke would translate into a strong campaign effort across the state.

In a statement signed by its Director-General, Senator Olalere Oyewumi, TICC pledged to mobilise 1.5 million votes for President Tinubu in Osun State, adding that Accord Party structures across the state would participate in the campaign.

The council said it was committed to justifying the confidence reposed in Governor Adeleke by the President, noting that the governor's appointment presented an opportunity to coordinate political structures and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the election.

According to the statement, “We assure the President that his confidence in the ability of Governor Adeleke to deliver Osun in the presidential election will not be misplaced.”

Reaffirming its electoral target, the council added, “We promise the President, just as Governor Adeleke had said some time ago, that we will deliver 1.5 million votes to ensure his victory in the coming presidential election.”

TICC also called on residents of Osun State to continue supporting Governor Adeleke, maintaining that his administration would remain focused on delivering its campaign promises.

The council further linked its appeal for support for President Tinubu to its confidence in Governor Adeleke's leadership, stating, “A vote for President Tinubu is a support for Governor Adeleke.”

The statement reiterated the council's commitment to working with Accord Party structures and other stakeholders across Osun State as preparations for the presidential election continue.

The statement was signed by Senator Olalere Oyewumi, Director-General of the Imole Campaign Council (TICC).
